Formula 1: CHI Shine Shades 6B + 20 Volume CHI Generator (Mixing Ratio 1:1)
Formula 2: CHI Bleach and Shine and 20 Volume CHI Generator (Mixing Ratio 1:1)
Formula 3: CHI Bleach and Shine with 30 Volume CHI Generator (Mixing Ratio 1:1.5)

Step 1: Apply the CHI Bond & Seal starting at the hair line, mid-shaft, and through the ends. Bush through to the ends for even distribution.
Step 2: Examine the client’s hair and scalp.
Step 3: Apply Formula One from roots to mid-shaft.
Step 4: To create babylights, use Formula Two. Take diagonal sections around the natural fall of the front hair line using foils to secure the placement.
Artist tip: Section hair from behind the ears on both sides of the head leaving the back for later. Use the comb to “blur” the base color down the mid- shaft for a softer look.
Step 5: Taking ½ inch subsections on a diagonal and using the CHI color board, apply generous amounts of Formula Three. Push the product into the mid-shaft for an even better saturation.
Artist Tip: Feather the mid-shaft area throughout the full application. Leave out desired section by placing cotton in between.
Step 6: Start in the nape area, take V-shaped sections using the same application as sides. Around the occipital bone, start taking horizontal sections moving up the head. Let it sit for around 25 minutes. Use your professional judgement.
Step 7: Shampoo and condition with your favorite CHI wet-line products and style as desired.
